Teri Stone-Godena: Don't Take Childbirth Lying Down

YSN Professor and Nurse Midwifery Specialty Director Teri Stone-Godena was quoted in USA Weekend magazine. She said that staying out of bed during early labor may shorten labor and reduce pain, although medical professionals still pressure women to stay in bed during labor because it's more convenient for nurses and doctors.
